Hi
Welcome
I’m Krista Woodard: writer, maker, and certified Mental Health Coach for Christians. My passion lies in using creative expression to spark healing, joy, and deeper connection with God. Whether it’s through words, yarn, or a painted rock left like a love note from the Lord, I believe creativity is a divine gift meant to be shared.
I began this journey as a writer, sharing pieces of my story. Writing continues to be a sacred space for me, where vulnerability and faith collide in powerful ways. I am currently working on a memoir that shares the miraculous stories of how God delivered me from drug and alcohol addiction and provided for my needs as a brand new Christian.
But as my healing deepened, so did my desire to minister in more tangible, hands-on ways. I began crocheting bags out of recycled materials, transforming things once discarded—like plastic grocery bags—into something new and beautiful. It became a reflection of what God does in each of us: He makes all things new.
I also paint rocks with encouraging messages. Sometimes I give them to people I know. Sometimes I leave them in public places as unexpected moments of grace for whoever finds them. It’s a simple but powerful ministry of presence and kindness.
Recently, I completed training as a Certified Mental Health Coach for Christians, equipping me to walk alongside those dealing with trauma, addiction recovery, or just the weight of everyday life. I especially believe in the therapeutic value of creative work for those in recovery, military families, and anyone seeking restoration.
This space is a reflection of all those threads woven together—faith, storytelling, art, healing. I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re a fellow creative, a seeker, a survivor, or simply curious, I pray you find encouragement and hope in what you read and see here.
Let’s journey together—rooted in the Vine, healing through creativity, and moving ever closer to the One who makes all things new.
