My Blog
In this blog, I wish to celebrate the art of storytelling in all its forms. Since the beginning
of creation, humans thrive on stories. Our children hunger for them at night before bed.
We carry the history of our past to future generations through stories. We amuse
ourselves with stories around a crackling fire while camping. And we celebrate lives well
lived through stories shared at funeral and memorial services. Stories are what connect
us.
I am currently working on a book that will tell the story of how God delivered me from
drug and alcohol addiction. As my book takes shape, I desire to share my progress by
embracing vulnerability. With each chapter written and revised, I find myself unearthing
hidden emotions and discovering the power of crafting words into stories that touch
hearts. From humorous moments and heartwarming encounters to serious questions
about how to live out my faith, I want to write with authenticity.
Whether you’re a fellow writer grappling with the intricacies of storytelling or a seeker
yearning to deepen your connection with Jesus Christ, you are not alone on this
expedition. I pray that the pages of my progress and the musings of my soul inspire you
to embark on your own quests, and that we may find strength in unity, and comfort in
shared struggles.
